Staryou ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
Quiz responses: Your answers to the 30-question SHINE assessment.
Results data: Your calculated archetype and SHINE dimension scores.
Email address: Optionally collected if you provide it to receive your result link. This is not required to use the platform.
Payment information: Processed entirely by Paystack. We do not store your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To calculate and display your personality results.
- To deliver your result access link if you provide your email.
- To send your Pro profile link after successful payment.
- To improve the Staryou platform and archetype accuracy over time.
3. Data Storage
Quiz results and scores are stored in a secure database. Email addresses provided are stored only for the purpose of delivering your results.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share data only with:
- Paystack, to process payments
- Resend, to deliver emails
- Supabase, for secure data storage
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at staryousupport@gmail.com
6. Cookies
Staryou may use basic cookies to maintain your session during the quiz. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
7. Children
Staryou is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
